Cathy Royston is the Administrative Assistant. With over 30 years experience in the non-profit area, Cathy has a vast knowledge of working with volunteers, record keeping, promotion, project planning and has quite a bit of knowledge in the computer design area. Cathy and her husband Ralph have lived in Winfield for 12 years. Of their 6 children, 3 are still at home along with a cat, Lewis, and a Morkiepoo, Clarabell.
In 2016, when Cathy was laid off from her Executive Director's position, she felt a very strong calling from God that she was needed at the church. She volunteered to help out in the office for a short time, then worked as an interim admin until she was hired to work full time in the position. Cathy also volunteers as the church's Clerk of Session and Records.
Candace (CeCe) Stephens is the Christian Education Discipleship Development Coordinator. Candace brings to the position a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Friends University and an associate’s degree in education from Cowley College. Candace has served Winfield USD 465 as a substitute teacher, and she taught 4th grade for half a year in South Haven. In addition to her contagious faith in Jesus Christ, she has a well-established rapport with many local youth.
Nikki Kirk is Director of Music at Winfield First Presbyterian Church where she directs the Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir, and coordinates other special performances for worship services. In addition to her duties as Director of Music, she is also a music educator in the Arkansas City Public Schools and is an active member of many professional music organizations. Mrs. Kirk's previous music experience includes serving as Director of Music at Coffeyville First United Methodist Church, teaching music, band, and choir in the Coffeyville USD 445 public schools, and serving as an instructor at Coffeyville Community College. She received her BA in Music Education while studying trumpet and voice from Glenville State College (Glenville, WV). As a performer, she has performed at the National Trumpet Competition in Washington, DC, and performed as a trumpet and vocal solist at numerous events in the Eastern and Midwestern regions of the U.S. She is an active composer, arranger, adjudicator, and clinician as well as a drill designer for various marching bands. She resides in Arkansas City with her husband Jeremy (Professor of music at Southwestern College), son Clark (future percussionist) and daughter Chloe (projected to be a future singer based on infant lung capacity).
